Your Child’s Security at Parkway: A Letter to Parents

Dear Parents,
It is finally time to launch our new security system. It is time to act! Beginning Sunday, November 20th, we will have the system up and running. It will be a very simple procedure. Please click HERE to see the instructions. It may take some time to get used to, but once we get in the groove, I can see how this system will not only make for a more secure environment for our children, but will be helpful in several other ways as well. For example, you will be able to click EDIT and add notes for the day about your child and add allergies.

The concept is simple. Your child gets a label to check into class and you get a matching label for each child. You present your matching label for each child at pick up. If you cannot pick up your child, you need to give the matching label to the person you desire to pick up your child. Child care volunteers will ask for the matching label in order to release the child. We will trust that if someone else has the matching label, it is because you gave it to them and authorized it. Please note, children will not be released to anyone younger than 16, so please keep this in mind.

With your cooperation, this will be a smooth transition for our church as a whole. Thank you in advance for your help. Please carefully review the enclosed instruction sheet so you will understand the process. We pray this will be a positive move for our children and our church.

In Him,

Melody Pudlo
